Official Enemy In Me Music Video Released
DisasterTheory has released their first official music video for a track off the album Destination Nowhere.
The music video is for the song Enemy In Me and has already ruffled some feathers because of the suggested content of the video.
The video begins with a pan through a neighborhood while you hear a news broadcast that calls DisasterTheory frontman Mark Thomas “an anti-mask extremist.” From that point on, Thomas is stalking the band’s turntablist Rob, who wears a mask every day, no matter where he is or what he’s doing. This point it driven home with scenes of Rob sleeping, attempting to brush his teeth and eat while wearing a mask.
The band says “we aren’t anti mask. We simply see the strange extremism on both sides. Believing something or not believing something is fine until it brings out the darkest of us as humans. This is the point of Enemy In Me.”
