The Toiletpaper Escapade: The Sequel
It’s been a while since I have had time to do a blog entry. We are working on a new album after all. Once again, I’m kind of sad that my first blog entry in a while, mimics my first blog entry ever. I was sad about it then too.
It seems as the media bombards us with “second wave of COVID” headlines, people are ONCE AGAIN, focused on toiletpaper…
Seriously folks…what is the deal?! The last I checked, toilet paper had absolutely no effect on the pandemic, aside from making sure there was a shortage of necessities for no reason. Also the last time I checked, a lot of people were returning that toilet paper (or trying to) a few weeks later. Have we learned nothing?
Personally, I believe this is part of our problem as a society. We keep doing exactly the same things as if we are robots going through pre-programmed motions with absolutely no consideration for the fact that the things we previously did…were ludicrous.
So here were are again, preparing to shut ourselves in and build our super duper TP forts, buying every package of toilet paper off the shelf so that no one else has a chance to wipe their ass and then proceed to call all of those unfortunate people “selfish” because they’re not doing the things you think they should…for your benefit.
Can we stop the insanity, at least once? Can we develop some actual survival skills…just once?
There seems to be a new trend over the past few years in which celebrities as well as every other fashion guru has started wearing t-shirts and other merchandise of bands (specifically rock and metal bands) that they likely never heard of…because it’s cool.
