DisasterTheory's Official Instagram Removed

DisasterTheory’s official instagram account (@officialdisastertheory) has been disabled on Instagram after what appears to be a hack by rogue statistics software that was used to keep detailed growth statistics for the band’s Instagram account.

DisasterTheory has wasted no time recreating a new Instagram account (@disastertheoryofficial) in hopes of reconnecting with fans, as the band had 10, 256 followers at the time their account was disabled due to the hack.

“We know this is going to be an uphill battle to reconnect with many of the fans and regrow the account. We also had contest winners that we will not be able to communicate with now. This is a ridiculous overreach in my opinion, especially when Instagram gives no method to contact them to sort issues like this out. It’s an iron fist that lacks consideration.” says DisasterTheory frontman Mark Thomas
