FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PITTSBURGH, PA – July 11, 2025 – Rising alt-metal powerhouse DisasterTheory is set to officially release their highly anticipated new single, “F** Me,” on July 18, across all major streaming platforms. The emotionally raw track dives deep into the pain of giving everything to someone who leaves you shattered—and feeling like you were never enough.
The song first made waves when the band dropped a stripped-down acoustic version on YouTube on June 25, quickly resonating with listeners around the world. As of this writing, the acoustic video has amassed over 77,000 streams (at the time of this article), driven by fans who connected with its vulnerable delivery and haunting lyrical themes.
Shortly after, DisasterTheory unveiled the official music video, a cinematic portrayal of a man’s mental and emotional spiral after losing the love of his life. The visual gained traction almost immediately, drawing praise for its heartbreaking narrative and symbolic storytelling.
The July 18 release includes the full studio version, the acoustic rendition, and a radio-friendly cut, offering fans multiple ways to experience the song’s raw intensity.
“This is the most vulnerable song we’ve ever released,” says frontman Mark Thomas. “We wanted to put out the acoustic version first because we knew it would hit people differently—it’s stripped of everything but pain and honesty. The full version brings the fire, but the message stays the same: sometimes love destroys you.”
With their signature blend of aggressive emotion and melodic depth, DisasterTheory continues to cement their place as a band unafraid to confront heartbreak and inner demons head-on.
Fans can stream the song on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and more starting July 18.
